I use organic 100% gelatin and cute silicon molds. If you don’t have molds use what is available in the kitchen, like an ice cube or any shallow plastic container. Keep your Solberry Protein Treats in the fridge – they are delicious and make very nice treats!
- Recipe Solberry Protein Treats
- 1/4 cup (60 g) Solberry Seabuckthorn Puree
- 2 tbsp. (30 g) fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp. (1 g) lemon rind
- 3 tbsp. (45 g) honey
- 5 tbsp. (100 g) water
- 1.5 tbsp. (15 g) gelatin powder
The total volume should be about 1 cup approximately 220 g.
You can control your sweetness by adjusting the honey or sugar.
Combine Solberry, lemon juice, lemon rind, honey and water in the heat proof glass. Put your glass with mixture on the warm bath at approximately 40°C adding slowly adding gelatin to the mixture and stirring until all gelatin dissolves. Transfer mixture into silicon molds and put them in the fridge for 60 minutes or until set. Remove from the mold, enjoy!
